September-2010 Sunflowers and Dahlias win the Oscars in the backyard but supporting roles go to this Zebrina and Rudebeckia. Also nominated were the Cone flowers, Jackmanii Clematis and this runner-up Basil. |

Here's a night shot of the Datura. The Cosmos are tucked in here and there throughout the garden. The Mandevilla is loving the end of summer heat. These two doves can't wait for the dwarf apple trees to grow over the arch and the fall grasses are starting their show. |

Savory gifts for the kitchen continue every few days. The grapes were few but very tasty. It's nearly fall and the Sedum is turning red. A new Halloween feature is almost done and a show stopping Phaison Canna bloom. |

2009 -The Sweet Autumn has started to bloom and the Red Siam Banana is up in the Castor Beans. Why are the weeds taking over you ask? Because it took 3-weekends to complete our latest arbor. Below, the new backyard gated entrance is taking shape and some more color mixes. |

The top of the arbor is almost done. A very challenging wood project. To the other side is our only Sunflower bloom with several bees on it. Below is a Big Bertha pepper, a Crimson Spire apple and our Candy Corn, just ready to pick. |
